After receiving my results through either Facebook
or Instagram, a lot of my respondents stated they would expect a scene where my
artist is pictured glamorous with a sparkly necklace, holding a diamond. They
felt this particular scene would help relate to the chorus of the song,
relating and engaging the audience with a slight narrative and performance
based music video. I personally agree with this feedback I received having my
artist dressed in dull clothing would contradict the lyrics and meaning on the
song therefore I would risk losing my engagement with my target audience. Also
having my artist pictured with props will add to the atmosphere and angle of
the shot within my music video which makes it more enjoyable to watch for an
audience point of view. As well as asking my respondents about the mise en
scene of my music video of the clothing aspect, I also wanted their view on
where they felt one of the locations should be. One respondent had an interesting
idea, which I was particularly fond of, was a bath scene. She stated after
watching many pop music video, that has the tempo and similar meaning as the
song ‘Royal’ she said many had their artists filmed in a bath, which she
personally found effective.. My audience member also stated they would like to
see many close-ups on the artists in order to see her facial features clearly.

Audience feedback
Audience
feedback about my chosen song
I have gathered audience feedback about their
opinion on my chosen song for my music video. I have social networking sites
such a Facebook and Instagram, websites that I am able to send them the link
through. I felt this would be the best possible way to receive a response, as
my chosen target audience are influenced immensely through media sites so there
are able to see what others think within their age range about my chosen song.
It also allows me to get a quick response rate as they spent the majority of
them day checking for the latest status update.
