I have chosen to use a different image as my front cover; I know many professional
posters often use to show the design on their poster however I want to be slightly
different with my design. I have still chosen a photography that enhances my
artist facial features and she is dressed in the same costume allowing a sense
of connection between my ancillary tasks so that my target audience can associated
them with one another making it easily recognisable associating it with my
artist.
I have begun to add the other elements that are featured on an advertisement
poster such as the text including the artists and album and the date of release,
as well as reviews from a magazine company and radio station such as capital
radio. These are important conventions to
poster advertisements therefore it is fundamentally important that I incorporate
them. I have also placed social networking icon such as twitter and facebook,
allowing the audience to follow the artist in her upcoming events and albums.
